Cat Dance to Gain Political Power
As Related to Senate Reversal
of FCC Media Ownership Rules
and the Hollywood Blockbuster Classic
Smash Hit Movie, Wag the Dog,
Starring Dustin Hoffman
According to an article written by Associated Press reporter, David Ho, published in the June 20th, 2003 edition of The Courier-Journal (http://www.courier-journal.com ) the Senate voted to reverse the Federal Communication Commission decision to expand ownership rights of media conglomerates.
Sadly, I must report that I have been unsuccessful in finding a paying markets for my freelance feature article content. During turbulent times when money is scarce in a rough downtrodden lean tight economy freelance feature article content must not be too much in demand. During turbulent times when money is scarce in a rough downtrodden lean tight economy, editors managing a tight budget, who receive my query letters, may turn up their eyebrow and think “times are rough, fortunately freelance feature article content is something I can live without.”
In 1998, New Line Productions Studio released a Hollywood Blockbuster Smash hit Classic movie starring Dustin Hoffman, entitled Wag the Dog (http://www.newline.com/sites/wagthedog/ ). Now that the Senate subcommittee has reversed the FCC decision to expand ownership rights of media conglomerates, I have no hope to ever find a paying market for my freelance feature entitled, A Flea Circus: Marks Media Empire and FCC Deregulation.
An instance when the tail of the dog feels like wagging the dogs entire body exist when a dog has fleas, hence the title of my freelance feature article is A Flea Circus: Marks Media Empire and FCC Deregulation. Sometimes a dog may feel wagged by its tail when the dog has a severe case of flea infestation. Other times, a dog may feel like taking that big bushy furry tail and beating the shit out of the itchy flea infestation.
Certain worldly powers and principalities may feel like the dog in reaction to my freelance feature article entitled, After the War: Entire 2004 Nobel Peace Prize Applied to Start New Institution.
An excerpt from my freelance feature article entitled, After the War: Entire 2004 Nobel Peace Prize Applied to Start New Institution, is pertinent:
After the war, nations that are currently involved in military intervention in Iraq should extend the Olive Branch of Peace to France, Russia, Germany, Asian Countries, and all other nations who vigorously opposed war in the United Nations Assembly.
An ancient proverb from days of old is, “Men sharpen men, as iron sharpens iron”. Nations that vigorously opposed war in the United Nations Assembly have a very valid viewpoint. Nations who sought peace within the framework of realism and, subsequently are engaged in military conflict inside Iraq, also have a very valid viewpoint.
Certain worldly powers and principalities may be like the dog that takes its big furry bushy tail to beat the shit out of an itchy flea infestation. Certain worldly powers and principalities may be like the dog, but instead feel like taking the Olive Branch of Peace and whipping the daylight out of that annoying itchy flea infestation.
The impact of my freelance feature article entitled, A Flea Circus: Marks Media Empire and FCC Deregulation, upon Senate deliberations to reverse the Federal Communication Commission decision sheds light upon the cat dance to gain political power during times when lawmakers contemplate arbitrary courses of future action containing a great degree of uncertainty. The ultimate social effect of FCC Deregulation of media ownership rules contains a large measure of uncertainty because an equal number of valid arguments for and against FCC deregulation exist.
Fortunately, my freelance feature article entitled, A Flea Circus: Marks Media Empire and FCC Deregulation, contains a well-balanced perspective exploring arguments for and against FCC Deregulation of media ownership rules. Now that the Senate has reversed the FCC decision regarding deregulation, I have no hope of ever finding a paying market for my freelance feature article content hence I must once more make my freelance feature article content available online for free.

Other freelance articles I have recently written will be made available free online in the near future, including the complete unabridged freelance article, A Flea Circus: Marks Media Empire and FCC Deregulation.
Perhaps, I should hold out and wait in hope of stumbling upon a paying market for my freelance article content? I was never good at playing poker. I tend to play my cards too soon.
Actually, I am not interested in gaining political power. I am happy being a nobody. I simply find it intellectually challenging to explore these issues indepth.
Who knows, perhaps an indepth exploration of these issues will help posterity. After all, an entire new generation will have to grapple with the concept of political power while making decisions that will shape the future of mankind.
